Rough Sketch/Explanation of location and key points
to note
The location that i am going to be using is victoria park. This is because it will be sunny when i am going to be filming and i will also be able to get nice shots of the senery of the park. The location is close to where i am living along with where the person in my video is living leaving. The second location will be a house win well street as the garden is nice as well as being convenet to get from victoria park to the house.
My third location will be a courtyard in a housing estate in shoreditch. This location is very nice as they have built a little garden with loads of different flowers growing which would be very good for the shots that i will be taking. Also my Dad lives there and he has his Old Lambretta parked out side which would look good in the video. It also helps by being able to use my dads house.
Access to location via:
All locations are very easy to get to from where i live as they are all about 10-15 minuets away from each other.

Health
and Safety Issues to note:
● when using the scooter we should make sure that it is safe to sit on as if it falls over whilst someone is sitting on it then that can be dangerous.
|
Potential Filming Problems :
Victoria park also has a lot of people that go there when i get sunny therefore we would have to find quite parts of the park to make sure that we don't disturb other people using the park.

Assigment 2 Task 4 - Anaylise the track
The track By JAWS called Stay in is featured on there b side of there second single surround you. The pace of the song is very balanced as it is not very fast but not really slow either its in the middle.
Im not to sure what its about but after listen to the track many of times and then writing down the lyrics i think that the the lead singer is singing about a break up because the lyrics are:
Stay in Stay out x2
tell me what to do if i don't hear from you
i dont wanna know where your gonna go
close my eyes to see my mind torture me
don't wanna see new memory
These are all of the lyrics that are in the song in roughly the same order. The reason i think that the song is about a break up is because of the lyrics for example "i dont wanna know where your gonna go" this cold mean that he does not want to know because he wants to forget about the person or when he sings "close my eyes to see my mind torture me" this could also mean that he keeps thinking about the person when he's trying to forget about them. The meaning of this song could also be about the dilema of trying to make a dession of wearther or not to stay in or go out as it can be a rather tricking decision. Hes mind could be torturing him as he cant make a stubiable decision.
The Imagery that i think of when i listen to this song is being out night with lots of color's around for example buildings. When i do listen to the song i picture all different places for example when the lead singer signs Stay in Stay out i picture him walking along a street
Some of the ideas that i have come up for this would be using shots early in the morning and make it look like someone has just came from a night out. I was thinking of using a high rise for the first shot.

Assigment 2 Task 3: Analysis the Artist
Jaws
This band is a upcoming band from Birmingham. They originated at there college in 2012 when their singer posted one of their songs and they got a lot of postie feedback of it. This band are in the surf pop/indie style. At the moment they have 1 Ep and a few singles. They had a set at the reading and Leeds festival on the BBC introduction stage which was the first time i saw therm live. They had also toured around England.
Their image is very grungy although there music isn't.

They all perform very seriously for example when they perform live they perform live they don't really tell jokes or try had to engage with the audience they just play they would say like thank you to the crowd for coming out and things like that where as some artists actually make an effort to engage with there audience and try to make conversation with the whole crowd. If i had to describe there image then i would say that they look like you basic generic hipster. They have toured with a selection of different bands
There style of songs are very similar to bands like Peace and Swim deep so alternivtive indie like quite rock. Personally i really like there music well some of the songs that they have performed because of how they play and the sounds that they make, make me really intrseted in what they play. I like hering there them on my ipod than live because they are a litle bit boring live, This is due to the lack of movment in the crowd when the play and this is not due to the crowd not enjoying the music its half because they are not that able to interact with the crowd.

AS2 Task 1 copyright
Copyright was first orginated in the Uk in 1710. This came into force on 1 august 1989. Various amendments have been made to the original statute, mostly originating from the European Union directives.
It has been put into place so that people cannot copy the same things that other people have made and make money of. It applies for a range of all different things for example: electronic products, adverts, logos and music.
The rules that would apply for copyright with music.
The owner of a copyrighted music work owns the rights to the sheet music, but the owner of an authorized copy may play the copy, unless it is for public performance, but may not copy it in any medium or use it for derivative works without permission. There are guidelines for use of copying and performance of music in educational settings and the University does have blanket permission through licenses from performing rights societies for their repertoires.
The rules for copying of sheet music are very much like those for the copying and use of written or graphic works. Single copies, or edited copies for use, but not distribution of recorded works owned personally or by the University, can be made but must be retained, not distributed. Performance of music in the BMI or ASCAP repertoire, sponsored by the University, in a University facility is (probably) permissible, but the license must be checked at Procurement and Property Management Office (PPMO) to be sure that specific conditions are met. Dramatic performances of music are not permitted without a special license, obtainable through PPMO.
Library/Media Center personnel should be especially concerned with the possible duplication of entire copyrighted tapes, since that circumstance doesn't meet the brevity test for fair use, and should warn a user who expresses the intent to copy a whole tape that such an act would be a violation. A copy of a portion of a tape or vinyl recording for educational use would probably be permissible, depending on the size of the portion, but the duplication of an entire recording would not be, and buying the work is the proper alternative. The Library/Media Center can make one circulating copy as long as the original is not circulated. Again, the UH Copyright Guidelines have several examples of what is or isn't fair use for music and the rationale involved.
Copyrighting a song/video can be really good useful as it can help you from getting your music stolen. For example if you have a song then and someone users bits of your song without asking your permission then you would be able to sue and even make some money of them.
Jessie j is getting sued buy the band Loomis and the lust because her song Domino sounds the same as There song bright red chord. She didn't use permission to use the song
Jessie j didn't know that she was copying the band at the time she said that it was a coincedence and that she didn't mean to upset any one and calms that she didnt know the band before.
